Amblyopia, commonly known as lazy eye, is a condition that affects vision as a result of poor coordination between the eye and the brain. This leads to reduced vision in an eye that may outwardly appear normal. It is a prevalent cause of visual impairment in one eye among children and young adults.
Amblyopia - Lazy Eye - presents vision exercises designed to help ameliorate and address this issue.
- Contains 20 diverse vision exercises ranging from easy to challenging.
- Choose the exercise you wish to practice.
- Exercises are tailored for three age brackets: under 5 years, between 5 and 12 years, and over 12 years. Select the appropriate group.
- Cover your unaffected eye.
- Maintain a distance of 1 to 2 feet from the screen, adjusting based on screen size. The goal is to encourage movement of the eye within the socket.
- Conduct exercises in a darkened room.
- Each exercise should last for 5 minutes.
- Engage in 15-20 minutes of exercises daily, twice a day, with your healthy eye covered. Complement these exercises with others available in the application.
Treatment should be sustained as long as there is improvement in vision. However, if progress halts, it may not be beneficial to continue patching for more than 6 months.
